Care Instructions for the Pendulum

|
The Pendulum that has been placed in your mouth will start to rotate your first molars and move them back to create space for other teeth. It will be in place for about four months (this is only an estimate, treatment time may vary). After removal, another much smaller appliance will replace the Pendulum, to hold the teeth's positions.

- Brush your teeth carefully as usual.
- Brush the appliance and rinse your mouth to clear away any food or debris caught in the appliance.
- Your teeth may be tender for a few days and your speech should improve quickly with practice.

We plan on a problem-free appliance, however, if something comes loose or breaks, please feel free to call the office for an appointment.

If any part of the appliance breaks loose or if glue comes off, please call the office for an appointment.
