Ever wonder what Dr. Teel is really saying to the assistant?
In the simplest terms, a lot of numbers that all have a specific purpose or meaning. Sometimes we say, "we'll be placing a bracket on the upper left second bicuspid". Can you find which tooth we are talking about on the chart?? How about the "lower right central"? Use the chart below to find the teeth! It gets easier if you practice!
All of this info is just for fun, you don't have to know it...and there's no test afterward!

As your adult teeth come in, they push on the baby teeth and eventually the baby teeth (we call them primary or deciduous teeth) fall out.
